he made things like my mouth and ears 'hot spots' on a picture of me, and had each one play a different audio of me talking, (or yelling!) depending on what was clicked...

He thought it was hilarious. :-)

that ALL you had to do to create that software yourself, was:

1) load or even draw the picture (the one with the tree, or me)

2) 'Mark' each tree as a 'hot spot' with the mouse (just sort of draw an invisible box or circle around it)

3) Select from a LIST (thatpops up) what ACTION would happen when the tree is 'clicked' by the user (such as: 'play music').

4) Press a button, and out Pops your software: "Musical Trees" (or what ever you decided to call your software).

THAT, is PlayIt 2.0!    very cool. :-)

When you choose an 'action' for a hotspot (from the drop down list - Step 3) you can select a Widget, such as:

Flying Message (a message you type flies across the screen when they click the hot spot)
